Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Cavotec is set to draw the crowds to its booth at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe 2025 in Amsterdam.
In this exclusive video filmed before the show opened its doors, E&H Marine caught up with the clean tech manufacturer’s VP of product management, Laurent Dupuis, to find out more about Cavotec’s history, recent installations and latest products for the decarbonization of ports and the maritime industry.
Depuis gave a great demonstration of the MCS Manual Dispenser, which delivers 4.5MW of power to charge electric vessels in a handheld device that is very smooth and easy to handle – despite weighing 50-60kg.
He also talked through the PowerAlign system for container terminals, which can quickly bring power to ships anywhere on the quay, saving time and money.
