Full electric drivetrain provider EPTechnologies is displaying a multitude of tech on its stand at Electric & Hybrid Marine Expo Europe 2025 in Amsterdam, showing that it really is a one-stop shop for hybrid and electric propulsion.
Visitors can see impressive products including a 500kW variable-speed DC generator, a 60kW sail drive system suitable for monohulls and catamarans, a half-solid-state battery based on LFP, a 17kW compact range extender and the Falcon electric outboard.
As COO and co-owner Marco Ottiker explains to E&H Marine in this exclusive interview filmed at the show, “[The Falcon] is an electric outboard developed totally from scratch. No mechanical piece is from a gasoline engine. Everything is streamlined below the water for minimum resistance.”
